A Memorable Adventure

Yesterday I decided to go walking on the greenway with a lady from church. She has twin girls (soo cute!) who are a little over a year old. We pack up all the strollers, snacks, juice, pacies, blankies, water, etc. We start walking and it is such a pretty day. We walk and talk for a while and her girls start crying so we decide to turn around and when we look at the time, it has been an hour! She looked for their pacies and realized she only had one. Then Lily started crying. So we walked/pretty much ran the whole way back. One of her girls had the pacie and she tried holding the other while pushing the stroller, (and she is pregnant) but obviously she got tired really fast. We also tried letting her girls walk, but that would have taken 2 more hours. It was their lunch/nap time. It also got hotter and hotter as the day went on- the high was 86! So by the time we reached the end of that long long 2 hour walk everyone was hot and tired. Luckily Lily never did start screaming but she sure was fussy...we both went through smoothie king drive through after that. yum! My arms are sore from pushing the stroller. haha. Good arm work out!
